You both make some great points. It would amazing if Boston added any of the big 3 available..Santana, Haren and Bedard. Any one of these guys is a difference maker. The Sox should make every opportunity to land one of these guys. If I had to rate these 3 in order of who I would want the Sox to get, it would be Haren, Santana, and Bedard. But I would be ecstatic with the addition of any one of them.<br/>Thanks for commenting.

I think they should trade for Bedard, the brains in Baltimore would probally let him go for a carton of smokes a and a single A 1st baseman!

nice info.. in the past Boston has given away great players to get a pitcher and in most cases we got screwed.. whats Larry Anderson mean to you?? I like Daves suggestion..Danny Haren of the A S.. NOT A POWER PITCH BUT HAS ,GREAT CONTROL AND HAD ONE OF THE BEST ERAS IN 2007.. WAS 10 and 2 .. perfect fit.. a worker. I would let the yankees have Santana.. they would give up alot of prospects and in the future it would hurt them...ALSO IS MR.Santana ready for big time pressurer??? the owner ship and new manager would be a load....FOR ANYONE..33
