It's called the Goal Post sports bar and grill........it's actually a pretty cool place. To add to the ambiance, there's a TV on a loop of Hall's "great" kicks. Small town life at its finest.

Just because the Redskins overpaid for him, doesn't make him good. They overpay everybody. With that being said, why would a "famous" athlete build a sports bar in Port Charlotte. What's next. The Jeff Corsaletti Cafe? We should check out Hall's place, it might be a cool place to "kick it"

Dave,

If I were to do such an offer I would only have 17 shortstops left, its about winning not personal preferences.

-Dylan "why does John Hall have a signature sports bar now in PC? was he ever good enough to have a sig. anything?" Hamilton

Dylan,
You should offer him 3-4 extra shortstops. Make him an offer he can't refuse.

I think that the problem I may be having is that my team is TOO good. I have more good players, then positions to play them. I've got Michael Young, Jermaine Dye, Granderson and Carlos Gomes riding the pine. These guys would be starters on a lot of other teams.
I'm starting to feel a little guilty about kicking everyone's ass right now, but I think I'll get over it. :)

Fransico Liriano pitched for the Ft Myers Miracle in his first "rehab" start enroute to Minnesota.

Kid couldnt find the plate and got lit up like the Pru when the Sox play in the playoffs (ie becoming a yearly thing), he got roughed up by Single A guys in the REDS organization. THE REDS!

That and he took the Loss.

As for your little problem Dave, its a matter of matching your strengths or over budget traits, like say if your heavy on outfielders or in Dylan's case SS's, and addressing your issues with other peoples. Sounds simple, but it is all in finding the Diamond in the Rough. i.e. Liriano of 2 yrs ago. There is definatly alot that goes into this, like, one thing I have an issue with is John Lackey. Hes injured and taking up a spot on my roster, I really dont think hes all that great but he plays for the Angels which equates to wins. Counter that with the antithisis of that Scott Kazmir, you know he is capable of getting the K's up and WHIP down, but hes not going to get the wins with the Rays. What do you do with them, and patience is NOT my strong point.

While everyone is looking for the next blockbuster trade, just remember, Theo is God. This makes you realize HOW increadibly awesome that man is.

And we dont even have to worry about cash and contracts. lol

The Sox have already had two great performances from their starters. After stinking up spring Training, Jason Varitek is crushing the ball. Now if Man-Ram and Drew can get their heads out of their butts, the Sox could have a pretty good season.

Dice-K pitched amasing last night. I was upset however, that they didnt let him get some revenage against Jack Cust, Since he seemed only to be getting stronger as the night went on. But oh well... Also #34 was found today stroking his first hit, and dinger of the season!
