I believe in Guiness..........

So, in a Golf Scramble today, I had on a Titleist/Red Sox cap. I was minding my own business on the practice tee hitting a few balls, listenting to my ipod, and drinking coffee...a nice morning I think. When out of nowhere, the fattest, most obnoxious foursome of mid 20 year olds shows up on the range. These were the type you could tell were too out of shape and goofy all their lives to play real sports, and never really spoke to a real girl. After high school I'm sure they rushed some d-bag frat in college, did okay in school, and got some boring insurance sale's man job. Now, they fill their weekends with really pathetic golf, and a hope that buy following sports "closely" they will fill the void of never being athletic..........So, after seeing my hat, they chime in with the entire, "Rays are gonna kick your asses tonight" and "if you like Boston so much move back". Which to date are the best conversation pieces the Bay area has come up with since, "man, we have one big ol' bridge huh?". I didn't even respond at first. Then, to my joy, a fellow sox fan showed, and we had a educated conversation on baseball, the sox chances, and the speed of the greens. All the while the decons of divots behind me kept yelling insults my way.........Finally, I told them nice shot after one of them hit a fat 7 iron went 10 yards and covered himself in dirt, then proceeded to ask them if they knew the Rays existed before 2008. For the rest of the day, these guys taunted me and wouldn't lay off. Normally, I go off on people like this. But, I'm over it. It's like screaming at a wall with these fans.......My final word on Tampa Bay........You've been in the baseball spotlight for a little over 15min. Be proud of your team, cheer loud, try and fill a stadium. But don't stick you're chest out like you've been here for 30 years. You're riding the glory of a team that fought hard all year long, with no fans, only to now have bleached blonde wanna be milfs show up in the stands. The Red Sox had a nation, a family if you will, before and after the 2004 series. Please Respect that. Sorry if this was rambling on. I'm not proofreading this either, so if it's one big ru on stream of conscious sentence, sorry.......

Dylan " I saw Jim Rice play in person at Fenway, so shut up" Hamilton

let's not get too cocky. If Tampa has proved anything this season, it's their uncanny ability to put these bad games of their minds. Let's also remember, Beckett has an 11+ ERA this post season, and hasn't hit 95 MPH on the radar in quite some time. There is a ton of ball left to be played. I'm just happy to see the Sox play at least one more.

T-Minus 12 hours and 30 minutes until the Sox push game 7.

I hate always being right about these guys.

I just wish I wasnt right about CALLING 82-80 (winning record) for the Rays at the begining of the season. I hate to end these kids streak and all but George Mason lost, the Cowboys still will not make it to the Super Bowl this year, and the Rays will still NOT be the class of the AL East yet again. They won the battle with the Division. Thats nice. But when it counts? Come on.

Now Welcome to Charlotte County, the AL Runner Up Rays. They almost had it, but blew it, Rays.
